Laurin Council, M.D., M.B.A., is the Director of the Center for Dermatologic and Cosmetic Surgery and Professor of Dermatology at Washington University in St. Louis, MO. Her areas of expertise include Mohs micrographic surgery for treatment of skin cancers, laser therapy, and cosmetic injectables. She has served on the Board of Directors of the American College of Mohs Surgery, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the Women’s Dermatologic Society, and is a Trustee of the Dermatology Foundation.  She is an Editor of several national dermatologic publications including the journal Dermatologic Surgery.  In addition, she is the immediate past Editor in Chief of Dialogues in Dermatology, the official podcast of the American Academy of Dermatology.
